  1. Great sample 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th May 2017

My trial 6-iron is currently my only iron (it's a long story!) so I'm using it a lot in unique ways. I'm very happy with the club. It's easy to hit, feels good on contact, and is attractive to look at. It took Tour Edge longer to build the club that I expected but this was a matter of about a week. I don't have the entire set but based on the 6-iron, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these clubs.

  2. One of the Best 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th May 2017

I've been a forged iron player all my life but my old irons were tired. I liked the way these irons looked at address so I decided to try them with the Recoil shaft. I found them long and easy to hit straight but still able to curve the ball when needed. They went into the bag immediately and I don't miss the forged clubs as these feel plenty soft enough! Very well designed clubs!!!!!!!

  3. Very nice 5 Star Review

This has be the longest six iron I’ve ever hit. Love the head and shaft combination. Thinking of either getting the entire set or putting this shaft in my Nike Vapor Fly irons.

  4. As good as anything else out there 4 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Feb 2017

I play Mizuno MP-59's with ProjectX shafts. I was surprised to see that I get a higher ball flight and maybe another 8 years with the CB Pro and the Mamiya Recoil shaft. This is the first iron I've been able to hit for some weeks that had a graphite shaft. I was impressed with how much dampening they provide for these old hands.

  5. Very Pleased 4 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jan 2017

I'm still getting used to it but I'm impressed with this iron. The feel at impact and ball flight is excellent. Distance is up there with the best of the best. When addressing the ball, you feel confident. I have ordered the rest of the set and can't wait to lower my handicap to below 5.

  6. Easy to hit and well manufactured club...has the features of most expensive clubs 5 Star Review

  7. EXOTICS CB PRO TUNGSTEN 6 IRON 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Dec 2016

THIS IRON IS INCREDIBLE. ACCURACY IS RIGHT ON TARGET
DISTANCE IS MUCH FURTHER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE TRIED
BEFORE. I WILL BE ASKING HOW DO I GET THE REST OF THE SET 7 IRON THRU PW.

  8. Effortless power and forgiveness 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Dec 2016

3 handicap and have played players clubs most of my life. Went to cavity back clubs last 3-4 years and just haven't been crazy about them. I put a set of CB proH in play this year and have been very happy. Decided to give the tungsten irons a try with 6 iron promotion and VERY happy. I spent a couple weeks with three 6 irons in my bag to test out the tungsten against my proh and my callaway apex. By a LONG shot the tour exotics perform better. Much more forgiving and higher trajectory on both. The tungsten just beats out the proh. Flight is higher, slightly more forgiving (although the proh irons have really taken some bad swings and given me good results- much better than I deserved), and tungsten slightly more workable. Most of all, I like the look of the tungsten irons more. I just ordered the 7, 8, and 9 to match. Already put the 2 in my bag as a driving iron. Unreal how much technology is hidden inside these clubs. People stand over the 2 and say "no way I could hit that" - then I make them hit one and they are blown away how easy it is to hit high and long. I have the stiff recoil shafts. I've noticed they perform best with a nice tempo. Trying to kill these doesn't help. Nice and smooth and let the technology take over.

I'm a new TourEdge fan. May need to look at the FWs and bags soon. :-)

  9. Exceeded expectations 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Nov 2016

I ascribe to the theory that, if you are not a good golfer, equipment will not make much difference in your play. This six iron is noticibly longer with higher flight than my current six iron, and I really didn't dislike the one I have. Now I'm wrestling with justifying filling out the rest of the set.

  10. High flight with good distance 4 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Aug 2016

I put a 5 hybrid in the bag a while back. This 6 make a good transition from the 5 hybrid to my 7 iron. I have only played one round with it, but won closest to the pin on a par 3 in my weekly quota game with this club. I only gave it 4 stars because the shaft feels a little stiff for a senior graphite shaft.
